Carbon Tax draft bill

In December 2015 the ClayBrick Association of SA did a resubmission for the carbon tax draft bill. Please see a copy of this submission attached.
In January we also did a submission to the Chamber of Mines which will be put into a final presentation to NEDLAC. Part of the submission is with regard to the definition of “a mine”, “mining area” and “owner”. We will be providing a Copy of our submission to our members.
CBA members are committed to a greener economy and welcome the opportunity to comment on the Draft Carbon Tax Bill (the ‘Bill’). On previous occasions, the CBA has engaged with National Treasury (NT) and the Davis Tax Committee (DTC) on the topic of the proposed Carbon Tax.
